NYU Wagner

Welcome to the multimedia home to the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. Curated by @AAlampi. Re-posting content is not an endorsement.

  • This week, the NYU Wagner team visited New York’s Social Media Week to check out some of the latest trends and innovations in social media. Here are some photos from events we attended. A member of our faculty, Shankar Prasad, also joined a democracy and technology panel earlier this week. Mr. Youth hosted an event about the college journey and social media. We also attended an event hosted at Reuters HQ in Times Square where Alec Ross, senior adviser on innovation for Secretary of State Hilary Clinton gave the keynote address. After Ross spoke, Obama’s digital team for his reelection campaign gave us an insider’s look at their strategies and technology.

  • cheatsheet: newsweek: It is apparent that Governor Perry cannot win and has no viable strategy in moving forward. State Sen. Larry Grooms from South Carolina has withdrawn his support for Rick Perry and switching to Santorum. Sad face.  UPDATE: It sounds like Perry will be announcing that he’s quitting and endorsing Gingrich at 11 am. And another falls.
